Our clients love coming to the dentist...

Chronic Pain and Diabetes Cured Dear Kevin, Over the years you have educated my staff, our massage school students, and me on the role of dentistry in our overall general health. Specifically, you have taught us about the danger of mercury toxicity in the body from amalgam fillings.

As you well know, I am very "dentist-phobic", but after considering what you taught me and my own health, I decided it was time to have the mercury removed from my teeth. I began the process with you in January. I had eleven fillings to remove, nine to replace and two crowns. We decided together to do this work over four appointments.

Following the first appointment and four removals in January, I came down with a cold and cough that I could not shake for several weeks. For the next few weeks I just felt worn out. Finally, about two weeks ago, following more removals, I became ill with what I thought was the flu. Then I realized that more was going on than the flu. I was detoxing dramatically. On March 15th, all the mercury was finally gone and all my teeth repaired. I have suffered from Fibromyalgia for over 30 years. Following the detox two weeks ago, my body pain (that on a daily basis I ranked between 6-9 on a scale of ten on any given day) is gone. I have not been pain free ever in my adult life. I feel like I am walking on clouds.

For the first time I am having fun being physical. I am also Type II diabetic. Or, I should say I WAS diabetic. Following the detox, my blood sugar has consistently been in the normal range. I have not had normal readings for more than three consecutive days in over three years. Praise god and thank you for my healing. I am feeling so good I can hardly sit still! I just want to jump for joy and now I am physically able to do just that. I have high energy and I am pain free for the first time in my life.

But, my thanks go far deeper. I want to thank you and your staff for the tremendous support during this process. I felt so genuinely cared for at every appointment and when I called with questions. I was truly nurtured through the entire process. As a doctor of Naturopathy, I educate people about being well in body, mind and spirit and do my best to treat my clients with great care and dignity. You and your staff exemplify the true meaning of holistic health care. Thank you for guiding me back to good health.

I am the mother of an 18 year old son. On February 25th, 1999, Rob Jr. suddenly became delusional and violent. He thought that people could read his mind and that the TV was sending him messages.

Rob had become uncontrollably violent throwing around a big stick outside in the yard and kicking in our cedar fence until it broke. He feared that the world was coming to an end and that many people were fleeing town. The police had to help us subdue him so that we could bring him to a mental institution 30 miles from our home. Enroute, I had to keep talking to him unceasingly or he'd start to panic. He thought demons were after him on the road behind us
When we arrived, the doctors gave him a tranquilizer to suppress his violent and bizarre behavior. They put him in a straight jacket in a room with no windows and tight security. We went back home.

Every night when we visited him he begged us to take him home with us. At one point he tried breaking out by throwing a chair through the window in his private room. The institution kept him for the next 2 1/2 weeks. He was drugged with Risperdal, Cogentin, and Wellbutrin (anti-psychotic drugs).

They said he would have to stay on these drugs for 6 to 12 months. Then they told us of another girl who went off her drugs and relapsed. "She didn't want to ever go off her drugs again", they told us, "even when the doctors gave her the ok".

Rob was finally released on March 8th. The next few weeks were filled with a great deal of stress for our family. Rob could no longer think on his own. He talked continually to me in order to maintain his own thought processes.

He thought I could read his mind and kept asking me if I could. I repeatedly said "No, I can't read your mind, you have to speak out loud in order for me to hear you." Inside our home was the only place he could safely stay. When we took him out, he thought the cars beside us were going to crash into us.

Extreme paranoia kept him away from others. His friends abandoned him. They accused him of being crazy. A small cross gave him some reassurance. He always kept it with him. However, now depression was setting in and he needed help. I took Rob to see a psychologist on March 18th. Perhaps this would give us some hope that Rob would be well again soon. The therapist talked with me for over an hour. He presumably wanted to set criteria for a diagnosis for Schizophrenia. Any acknowledgment I'd give him of a family background for mental problems would be used against my son.

I was told that if Rob didn’t start showing signs of remission in 2weeks, he’d be labeled as “Schizophrenic.” He said that Rob probably wouldn’t hold a job of more than that of a janitor’s level, and that he’d probably never marry. That angered me! My husband gave me a very strong challenge to find a cure for Rob. He told me, “If you’re so smart on nutrition and natural health, you find out what’s wrong with him.” So I set out to take matters into my own hands while asking for God’s wisdom. I picked up a copy of Hal Huggins book “It’s All In Your Head”.

Hal showed me that dental amalgam’s (silver colored mercury fillings) number one side effect was mental disturbances. Removing them and replacing them with plastic composites could result in remission of symptoms in five days.

On April 6th, Dr. Kevin Flood, DDS, a holistic dentist in Grand Rapids, Michigan, removed Rob’s three metal fillings. Exactly five days later my husband took Rob Jr. to a Motocross race in Pontiac, Michigan. Amazingly, we didn’t dare to take him out of the house before this to any kind of social event because of his extreme paranoia.

Dr. Flood removed just three amalgams from my son’s mouth replacing them with composite plastic. The next day we took our son off the medication that he hated. The medications had made him dizzy and he couldn’t concentrate.

Much to our joy, our son could now think and hold a normal conversation without the need of his drugs! No more did he need to constantly talk to me throughout the day just to maintain his own thought processes. Once again we could look at him and see that he was in charge of his own mind. His future was now bright again. He is now employed at a good job and is 100% normal!

Our thanks go out to Dr. Flood for safely removing the source of our son’s mental decline, to Hal Huggins, for enlightening us, and to the good Lord for guiding me to the cure.
